I am very happy with how the puppies are maturing! Pending eye checks, which will be done in 3 wks (though I expect great eye checks).. I think I am going to keep the smooth Tri male. He's been my favorite since birth.... and still continues to be my favorite.

I've actually gotten a lot of interest on this litter from different breeders I know. At least one of the blue boys should be going to a show home and it looks like the smooth tri girl will be going to a show/performance home on co-ownership to a home that is only about 1 hour away from me, so thats works out well... and I have a couple people that want to send their bitches to be bred to Ben (the sire of the pups)! so we'll see how things go...

These puppies are actually a bit different from puppies I've had past litters, but I'm very happy with them!.....

here are pics of 2 wk old puppies from a all rough sable litter I had in late 2006 (same dam as my current litter) so you can kind of look at these pups and see the different between them and the current litter... even with both litters having the same dam..



Sable rough female - I still have this bitch, she is about 20 months old now


The same bitch above, now at 4 months old... she matured to be a very hairy (tons of belly coat which I love! furry hocks and feathers) small bitch, maybe 45lbs max. Absolutely no more than 22" tall, but I would actually be willing to guess she is actually 21" tall.
